With over 35 years of experience in the Middle East, Stuart has spent his career building businesses, developing services, and creating impact both regionally and globally. 

Across four distinct companies, he has consistently identified opportunity and driven transformation - most notably by pioneering the e-waste industry in the UAE and integrating four complementary environmental services into a single, award-winning enterprise: Enviroserve. Under his leadership, the company grew to become a market leader and was ultimately acquired by two sovereign wealth funds after two decades of sustained success.

Stuart’s journey began at Fleming & Co, an agency and distribution business founded by his father in South Africa. From there, he transitioned into logistics with TNT Mailfast in the UK, where he quickly rose from a sales role to the youngest country General Manager. He later joined DHL during a key phase of transformation, taking on leadership roles in Saudi Arabia and Dubai, and eventually serving as a Global Director based in Brussels.

In 1998, Stuart launched MACAir, a marine air-conditioning company serving the UAE and wider Middle East. Six years later, in 2004, he founded Enviroserve - a business borne from the vision of reclaiming refrigerant gases, which evolved into one of the region’s most innovative environmental service providers.

Recognised as a market leader and industry expert in e-waste and sustainability, Stuart has received numerous accolades for his pioneering work. His career is defined by vision, execution, and a relentless commitment to innovation. As he moves into new ventures and advisory roles, Stuart remains focused on identifying potential, guiding others, and continuing to make meaningful contributions to industries that matter.
